In April this year DP World introduced a Terminal Infrastructure Surcharge (TIS) to be imposed on the transport company collecting the container. At the time we opposed the introduction of this charge and made a submission to the ACCC which fell on deaf ears. Now only 8 months since the introduction of this fee DP World are implementing an increase to be applied from the 1.1.18. The TIS will be increased to $49.20 – Melbourne, $37.65 – Sydney and $38.75 – Brisbane.
