Port Congestion Fees

Please be advised that we’re now starting to see some congestion surcharges being applied by various transport companies due to the ongoing delays at the wharf. We’ve been advised that the transport companies are using this surcharge to try and recoup some of their costs as they’re try and deal with the many issues affecting the terminals with long waits being incurred, slots being changed or cancelled and with trucks being sent away due to stoppages etc.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to pass on these surcharges when received, but hopefully this situation will improve very soon so that these additional costs will cease, but not sure when this might be at this stage.
